Optometrists Association of Australia - Golf Day - 6 March 2012

I would like to express my sincere thanks to YYGC for the very fine day enjoyed by the OAA yesterday at your fine club. The feedback has been wonderful from the players.

I would like to mention the following for exemplary service: Clare for going beyond the 'call of duty'. Nothing was an issue even though we had late cancellations and late changes. One can't underplay the value to me for her help; Andrew and Travis for unstinting support in all capacities (Andrew only costing me 11 bottles of wine in 'Beat the Pro'), but seriously, everyone enjoyed his banter and skill on the 15th as well as the professionalism in the proshop; Ayrton in the dining room was also very accommodating with timing and very courteous and professional; your front office staff were also most helpful; Paul, your superintendent always does a magnificent job on the course...those greens were beautiful to putt on, true and reasonably quick which separates the 'duffers' from the players (I three-putted 3 greens, but I was greedy for the birdie and missed the return).

And I love the fact that you always provide us with a challenging course. Many clubs provide short tees and pins because it's a corporate day, but you give us a course that is challenging. Please let the Board know my appreciation and I would be happy to provide a recommendation for your website.

We have already booked for next year, and as someone who has organised corporate golf days for some time at different courses, you do it exceptionally well. Thank you also for the Gift Voucher for 4 players, our most valued raffle prize and for the gift pack for the golfers.

Firstly we'd like to thank you and all the staff at Yarra Yarra. We had a brilliant day and made all that much better by the small things and attention to detail that you're staff did.

The Bridal Party raved about Mitch & Ayrton who were amazing on the day. Many of our guests also made a point of mentioning the quality of the service and food, so thank you all so very much.

What a privilege it was to celebrate our marriage ceremony and reception at your prestigious venue! Everything was flawless! The staff was wonderful, the food was exceptional and the setting amazing!

We wanted to thank you for making our wedding day everything we wanted! Since the first time we got invited for dinner at Yarra Yarra we fell in love with the place and we couldn't be happier having our Big day at your venue.

All our friends and family have said how wonderful it was and enjoyed the day very much. We are all still talking about it and we are still getting comments on what a perfect day it was!

Kim, On behalf of my parents and family I wish to extend a very big thank you to yourself and the staff that looked after us last Sunday.  The room looked beautiful, the food was superb and the service could not have been better.  Please thank the food/wine staff for their courtesy, attentiveness and non stop service.  They were so helpful and professional and I imagine staff like this are hard to come by!  We really appreciate their non stop effort and service.

I know I should have expected nothing less, but I wanted you to know what a fantastic job the Yarra Yarra team did for Tim and Elise?s wedding last Friday night.  As you know, the wedding was organised at relatively short notice but everything went like clockwork.  The venue, the quality of the food and beverages, the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff and the overall organisation could not be faulted.  Even the threatening rain held off!

I am always very proud to be a member of Yarra Yarra but I can assure you I have never been more proud than Friday night to be able to share our wonderful facilities and service with family and friends.  Most importantly, Tim and Elle had a fantastic, memorable night.

While I expect there will be a more formal letter of appreciation, through you I wanted to personally thank the entire team: Scott, Kim, Sara, Ayrton and all the bar and table service staff; and of course Adam and his team in the kitchen.  We had three professional foodies among the guests and they were effusive in their comments about the food and service.

You always say we are striving to take the experience at Yarra Yarra to new levels.  On behalf of all those attending last Friday night, let me assure you that the team is doing that and more.

Just a short note to say Thank You very much for the wonderful night we had on 12th September for John's 60th Birthday.   Everything went exceptionally well and everyone had a terrific time.

Special thank you to Kim who was always so accomodating and lovely on the phone and great with co ordinating the evening. During the evening, Ayrton did his job with aplomb.  He was calm and efficient and the staff worked really well.

The food was excellent.  The feedback was very positive. Once again, thank you for an excellent evening.  It was certainly a night to remember.

We are absolutely blown away by the wonderful wonderful luncheon that we had yesterday at Yarra for Tony's 60th birthday.Everything that we asked for was provided, down to the last little detail.

The dining room looked beautiful and the food was out of this world! We cannnot even begin to thank you for the day.  We have been to many many places for many functions over the years but the service at Yarra was second to none and we just do not have enough superlatives to describe the service.

The staff were so polite to our guests and nothing seemed to be a problem to them.

Scott, thank you for everything that you did yesterday.  We cannot tell you how much we appreciate it.  Kim, thank you for all the organisation.

We would recommend Yarra Yarra to anyone for an event (and we certainly will be).  

Most of our guests had never been to Yarra before and they fell in love with the place and could not say enough about the wonderful food and service. We really thank you so much.
