Dress Code

Members and Guests must maintain a high standard of dress at all times. Attire should be commensurate with that expected at a prestigious private golf club. The General Manager retains the right to alter these rules for special occasions.

 

Members inviting Guests to the Club are responsible for ensuring that their Guests are properly informed of, and adhere to, the Club's dress regulations.

 

DRESS - MEN

On Course

Players are expected to be suitably dressed for golf in a shirt designed for golf tucked inside tailored slacks or shorts. Tailored shorts must be of knee length (no longer than the knee), either worn with long socks, short white socks (plain white or predominantly white with a recognised golf club or golf manufacturer's logo) or white anklet socks. All players must wear non-metal spike golf shoes.

Clubhouse

Smart casual attire is acceptable providing it is commensurate with that expected of a prestigious private golf club. A tailored jacket and/or tie may be required in the Dining Room on occasions as specified.  Golf shoes with non-metal spikes may be worn in all areas of the Clubhouse except the Dining Room.

Unacceptable Dress

The following items are NOT permitted on the Course in the Clubbouse:

  • Shirts not designed for golf or not tucked in
  • Cargo shorts or pants
  • Three-quarter length pants (any length below the knee and above the ankle)
  • Slacks tucked inside socks (unless designed to do so)
  • No socks, black socks, coloured socks or white socks with markings (other than a golf club or golf manufacturer's logo)
  • Ripple sole shoes or runners
  • Denim
  • Caps with logos that do not advertise golf clubs or golf equipment
  • Hats and caps on level one of the Clubhouse
  • Dirty or unkempt attire
  • Facial Jewellery

DRESS - LADIES

On Course

Neat tailored golfing attire must be worn on the course. Blouses and shirts must be tucked into slacks, shorts, skirts etc. unless they are tailored or specifically designed to be worn out, to hip length. All players must wear golf shoes.

Clubhouse

Tailored slacks, tailored shorts (of regular length), skirt, blouse and knitwear. Ladies are expected to dress according to occasions as specified. Golf shoes with non-metal spikes may be worn in all areas of the Clubhouse except the Dining Room.

Unacceptable Dress

The following items are NOT permitted:

  • Bare tops
  • Denim
  • Cargo pants or shorts with external pockets
  • Brief shorts
  • Track or leisure suits
  • Ripple sole shoes or runners
  • Hats or caps on level one of the Clubhouse
  • Facial Jewellery
