At Yarra Yarra Golf Club our goal is offer a high quality and varied coaching program.

With 5 qualified PGA Professionals on staff there is a selection of coaches that will work with you to assist you in reaching your golfing goals. To enhance our coaching offering all coaches undertake regular training in the latest coaching techniques and equipment.

Andrew Bertram - Head Professional

Andrew is an AAA rated coach with the Australian PGA and has over a decade of coaching experience with players of all levels. Andrew's philosophy is to work within the student's skill level to enhance their playing game. Andrew has been published on both coaching and in particular club fitting in which he provides assistance to the PGA Academy.

An excellent communicator, Andrew has the ability to make the golf swing seem uncomplicated and simple.

Glenn Joyner

Glenn comes to Yarra Yarra after spending 20 years playing in Professional Tournaments across the globe with over 60 professional wins.

Glenn has been fortunate to learn from playing with and against the worlds leading players and spending time with our generations leading coaches.

Glenn's specialty is the short game and in particular putting.

A major part of reaching the peak of your golfing potential is knowing what to focus on in your game and with his experience Glenn has an ability to narrow your focus onto the really important issues affecting your golf.

Sandra Mackenzie

Sandra MacKenzie has played on the LPGA Tour in America and has wins on the European and Japanese Women's Professional Tours.

Sandra is currently also a Television Commentator on some of the worlds leading tournaments with access to the worlds leading players.

Sandra is a splendid communicator with a great insight to the women's game and is equally proficient with both the long game and short game alike.

Sandra is available at Yarra Yarra on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

 

Travis Carpenter and Michael Harris

Both Travis and Michael are highly qualified PGA Professionals who bring with them an enthusiasm to their coaching.

Michael specialises in junior coaching and oversees the club's junior program. Michael is available by appointment through the Golf Shop. Michael is also an expert club fitter.

Travis is available by appointment only and offers an extensive coaching program and has the ability to cover al aspects of your game in a very easy to understand approach.
