To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf and the Yarra Yarra Golf Club Local Rules as printed on the score card and on the MiScore App.<\/p>\n

1.TYRE MARKS<\/strong><\/p>\n

A tyre mark associated with any works area MAY be treated as GUR. These tyre marks may be in any general area. The player may take relief under rule 16.1b.<\/p>\n

2. GUR AREA BETWEEN THE 8TH<\/sup> TEE AND FAIRWAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

When a player’s ball lies in the works area between the 8th<\/sup> Tee and Fairway marked by ropes they may take free relief once by dropping the original ball or another ball at the nearest dropping stake under Rule 16.1b.<\/p>\n

In some instances, this may be closer to the hole.<\/p>\n

3. GUR ADJACENT TO DAM TO THE REAR OF THE 10TH<\/sup> GREEN<\/strong><\/p>\n

When a player’s ball lies in the works area between the 10th<\/sup> Green and the Dam marked by ropes they may take free relief once by dropping the original ball or another ball at the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole or at nearest dropping stake under Rule 16.1b.<\/p>\n

In some instances, this may be closer to the hole<\/p>\n

4. NEWLY LAID TURF BETWEEN THE 17TH<\/sup> TEE AND FAIRWAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

When a player’s ball lies in the newly laid turf \/ works area between the 17th<\/sup> Tee and Fairway marked by ropes and white line they may take free relief once by dropping the original ball or another ball at the nearest dropping stake under Rule 16.1b. In some instances, this may be closer to the hole<\/p>\n

5. PLAYING ACROSS THE CARPARK<\/strong><\/p>\n

If a car park is on a player\u2019s direct line of play to a green, the player must take relief at the nearest point of relief that is no nearer the hole and that the car park is clear of the direct line of play, without penalty.<\/p>\n

In playing the 7th<\/sup> hole the direct line of play to be used as a measure is in line with the blue stake on the left of the fairway and the flagstick.<\/p>\n

6. RULE 1.2B \u2013 CODE OF CONDUCT – DELIBERATELY PLAYING DOWN WRONG FAIRWAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any player deliberately playing a tee shot<\/strong> down a wrong fairway, such as down the 8th<\/sup> fairway off the 9th<\/sup> tee, will be subject to the General Penalty.<\/p>\n

7. ROPES, ASSOCIATED STAKES AND BLUE DROPPING STAKES \u2013 IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

All ropes, wooden barriers, associated stakes and blue dropping stakes are to be treated as immovable obstructions. Relief without penalty MAY be taken under rule 16.1a when your ball touches the immovable obstruction or the immovable obstruction interferes with the area of the players intended swing or stance.<\/p>\n

Unless otherwise noted, the penalty for the breach of a Temporary Local Rule is the General Penalty<\/strong><\/p>\n
