Yarra Yarra wins the 2022 Interclub competition (section B)<\/p>\n

The final round of this popular match play competition was played on Monday 18 July 2022 at Riversdale Golf Club under grey clouds, occasional showers and a top temperature of 10 degrees! The intent of the Interclub competition is to give match play experience to possible future Pennant and KHRYSP players and the format is handicap (range 16-26.4) match play supported by caddies.<\/p>\n

Our opponents for our last match were The National who were sitting in
second place on the table closely behind Yarra Yarra. They fought hard and
gave us a run for our money only allowing our girls to win 3 of the 5
individual matches. However, this was all we needed to finish top of the
ladder and so become the winners of the silver salver and the bragging
rights!<\/p>\n

Such an exciting win for all involved in the team: players, caddies and
managers. Everyone played their golf in great spirits and the team
camaraderie was a delight to see.<\/p>\n

Well done to our players: Jenny Cox, Kaye Griffin, Sally Ezerins, Deb
Goodrich, Bron Kennedy, Kerri Appleton, Fiona Leggett and Emma Padley. A big thanks to Liz Batliwalla for co-managing the season.<\/p>\n

And last but not least thanks to all those caddies who gave up their time to
help our players – we can’t thank you enough.<\/p>\n
