Ball Trophy was contested on Saturday 12 August with Nick Hill recording an excellent score of nett 72 to win the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trophy commemorates R G Ball who was a Member of Committee from 1929 to 1931 and President from 1932 to 1945, a total of 14 years, encompassing the difficult years of the Depression and the Second World War. He was appointed a Life Member in 1946.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The R.G Ball is open to the male winners of the twelve Medal events (July &#8211; June) who will compete, as drawn, in a stroke handicap event with the best net score the winner.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Medal winners who were eligible for the R.G.
