After a scorching heat wave the previous weekend, we were treated to soaking rain for most of the morning. It didn’t however, dampen spirits though, and players enjoyed the game of Irish Foursomes. It was a great way to to play a fun teams event, without too much pressure for those playing an unfamiliar course. The great condition of the course was commented on by many.

The winners for the day were Suzie Davis, Pamela Page, Emma Padley, and Jane Rawlinson; all in celebratory form for Suzie Davis’s birthday, claiming the prize with 91 points.

Runners up, Annie Sam, Jan Draper, Kate Hocking and Lisa Campbell were not far behind on 89 points. A fantastic effort from all in challenging conditions!

Previous Club Champion, Janette Borgolotto took Nearest the Pin on the 6th, and our own Sue Baker took the 15th.

Guests attending represented 27 clubs. A wonderful way to showcase our beautiful club. Golf was followed by a delightful lunch in the Eaglemont Room.
