Reintroduction of Member’s House Levy

Posted on: 16 April

We are writing to inform you that, after careful consideration and review, the Board has made the decision to reintroduce the Member’s House Levy as of July 1st, 2024. As part of this reintroduction, the House Levy will be billed as part of your annual subscription invoice, which you will receive in June.

As many of you are aware, the House Levy was temporarily suspended in 2021 due to the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the primary objectives of our club is to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among our members. The House Levy plays a significant role in facilitating social interaction by supporting various club events and activities. Reinstating the levy will enable us to continue providing opportunities for members to connect and engage with one another or share the facilities with family and friends.

Members will have 12 months to utilise their house levy amount based on their membership category. It is important to note that any unused portion of the house levy within the 12-month period will be forfeited back to the club at the end of the financial year, on June 30th.

The house levy can be used for the following purposes:

  • Bar and catering purchases
  • Social events
  • Take-away wine

The house account levy amount will vary depending on your membership category and will be as follows:

  • 7 Day Categories: $400
  • 6 Day Categories: $400
  • 5 Day Categories: $400
  • Restricted: $150
  • Young Adult: $150

Should you have any questions regarding the house levy, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
