1. HISTORY
- Perpetual Silver Salver donated by Cecilia Madge Hare (Hon. Secretary 1967-1971). The salver is engraved with the winner’s name and kept in the Clubhouse. The winner receives the trophy and an inscribed medal.
2. EVENT TYPE
- Perpetual Trophy.
3. COMPETITION
- Played over 18 Holes stroke. Scheduled on the February Monthly Medal round.
4. ELIGIBILITY
- The winners of the previous 12 Wednesday Women Monthly Medals – January to December – and women winners of the Club Saturday medal will be invited to contest the Medal of Medallist (Subject to transitional arrangements made from the golf committee and agreed by the Board).
- The winner is determined by the best net score.
5. TIES
- In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by a three-hole playoff from the 1st tee to be held at the conclusion of the round. A competitor eligible for the play off, but not present at the 1st tee, will be disqualified from the play off. If still tied after 3 holes the play off will continue by sudden death until a winner is determined. Handicaps for the play off shall be 1/6 of the daily handicap on the day.
6. PRESENTATIONS
- Presentation of the trophy will be made on Opening Day / Women’s President’s Day.
