YARRA YARRA v. PENINSULA KINGSWOOD @ ROSANNA GC.
Inclement weather greeted the players at Rosanna GC in Round 4.
Anton Kocacevic playing at No.5 found himself 3 down after three holes but showed some real grit to hang tough eventually going down 3 & 1. A sterling effort by the ‘never say die’ eleven year old. LOSS 3 & 1
Corey Wakeman played at No.4 with his father, Mark on the bag. Corey began well and was right in the match until fortune went in favour of his opponent, going down 4 & 2. LOSS 4 & 2
Nick Rossato played No.3 and was never in the game losing 7 & 5. LOSS 7 & 5
Jackson Green, with Greg Briggs as his caddy, played at No.2 and led for most of the day. Unfortunately, he eventually went down by 2 holes. Jackson has been on the verge of winning his past two matches and it is only a matter of time before he has a confidence building win. LOSS 2 Holes
Matthew Rees, played at No.1, with Rob Draper on the bag. Sadly, Matt had rolled his ankle, and despite playing in pain for the first nine, finally succumbed & conceded the match. LOSS 7 & 6
YARRA YARRA defeated by PENINSULA KINGSWOOD 5 – 0
As a result Yarra Yarra Colts have slipped to 5th place on the ladder
ROUND 5 v. COMMONWEALTH @ Commonwealth GC.
