COLTS v. The NATIONAL at Royal Melbourne – ROUND 7.

YARRA YARRA 2 lost to THE NATIONAL 3

JACKSON GREEN playing at number one had a big win, 6 & 5, taking control earlier in the match with some exquisite shots.

This was Jackson’s break out win in Colts and the his future looks bright at this level (Caddy – Rob Draper) 

WIN 6 & 5

ANTON KOVACEVIC playing at No.5 fought hard coming from one down with two holes to play, to win both 17 & 18^th holes of his match.

Once again Anton showed his ability and determination to overcome adversity and get the job done (Caddy – Ezy Naidoo)

Win 2 & 1

NICK ROSSATO, COREY WAKEMAN & HARRISON CRAWFORD were all defeated on the day but gained further experience playing at Colts level on the very demanding East Course at Royal Melbourne. Many thanks to caddies, David Bedwell, Robert Krall & Mark Wakeman.

 

Special thanks to the parents, family and supporters that ventured out to Royal Melbourne to cheer on the lads.

Despite the COLTS loss they remain in Division One for season 2022.
