Temporary Local Rules

The Temporary Local Rules have been updated as of Saturday 23 July.

Hoops on the golf course have been changed to be moveable obstructions from now on.

This means that the white hops on the course may be moved if they are in the way of a shot, they must then be replaced after you have played the shot and the moving of hoops must not delay play.

The following is the newly written rule.

  1. ROPES, ASSOCIATED STAKES AND BLUE DROPPING STAKES – IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

All ropes, wooden barriers, associated stakes and blue dropping stakes are to be treated as immovable obstructions. Relief without penalty MAY be taken under rule 16.1a when your ball touches the immovable obstruction or the immovable obstruction interferes with the area of the players intended swing or stance.
