1. HISTORY
- Trophy donated by Messrs. E.J. and G. C. Wagstaff in memory in their mother. Chris Wagstaff was the Lady Captain from 1951-1953 and the Lady President from 1955-1959. She was a member of the 1950 winning Women’s Pennant Team and in 1959 won the Victorian Veteran’s Championship.
2. EVENT TYPE
- Honour Board and Perpetual Trophy.
3. COMPETITION
- The competition is 4BBB Knock Out Match play with matches played as scheduled in the golf program.
4. ENTRY
- Entry is open to all eligible playing female members (refer to general clause 2)
- The maximum Daily Handicap for any player competing is 36. Players with a higher handicap may enter with their Daily handicap capped at 36.
- Competitors shall nominate for the event by entering their names on the entry sheet.
- Any player who cannot be available to play in all of the subsequent match play rounds is asked not to enter the competition to avoid walkovers.
- A random draw will be conducted with all entries with matches to be played by dates published in the golf program. The draw is final when it is published.
- A substitute partner may be made up until the commencement of the first round by a player who is not already in the draw.
5. HANDICAPS
- For the purpose of determining where strokes are to be taken in match play, the player with the lowest handicap in the match will be deemed to be zero and the opponent’s handicap will be adjusted accordingly, and the universal match play index used with full handicap shots allocated.
6. PRESENTATIONS
- Presentation of the Chris Wagstaff winner and runner up trophies will be made on Club Championship Day.
