Monthly Medal

1. EVENT TYPE

2. COMPETITION

A Club Medal shall be awarded each calendar month to the lowest net score. The competition will be stroke play.
The competition will be played on the Green Course.
Normally held on the first Wednesday of each month or as scheduled in the golf program.
The maximum GA Daily handicap of 45 applies for the Medal event.
The Medal is awarded to the best 18 Hole net score.
A trophy will be awarded to the Best Gross score.

3. TIES

In the event of a tie, all players who tied will play off in the next Medal round. The best 18 Hole net score of any tied player in the next Medal round will be the winner, with daily handicaps to be those on the day of the tie. In the event that the Medal being conceded on the playoff date due to a player / player’s being unavailable the remaining player must play to be declared the winner.
In the event of a further tie, the winner shall be determined by the GA countback system.
In the event all tied players are unavailable for a play-off round, the play-off will be held on a date set by the Golf Committee.

4. CANCELLATION

The Monthly Medal will be cancelled and rescheduled if the number of Members entered in the field falls below 30 players.

5. PRESENTATIONS

Presentations will normally be made on the next Wednesday presentation day following the conclusion of the Medal.
