1. DESCRIPTION
The Women’s Grade Championships are for competitors with handicaps between GA 9.2 and 36 and are open to all eligible female playing members (refer to clause 2 in General Conditions).
2. EVENT TYPE
Perpetual Trophies.
3. COMPETITION
- Qualifying played over 36 holes, with best 8 gross scores to qualify for scratch match play rounds. Qualifying rounds will be played on Wednesdays and Saturday with entrants able to select to play on either Wednesday or Saturday when entering. After the draw is completed, entrants may not change day of qualifying.
- If there are less than 12 players in the qualifying rounds 4 players will qualify for Match Play.
- All scores across the 2 rounds shall be entered on one leader board with the leading 8 players qualifying for the Quarter Finals.
- The Quarter finals, Semi-finals and Finals shall be over 18 holes.
- The competition is played on the Red Course.
- Match play rounds to be played as scheduled in the golf program.
4. HANDICAP ELIGIBILITY
- A Grade is open to Female Members with a GA Handicap of 9.2 to 15.7
- B Grade is open to Female Members with a GA handicap of 15.8 to 26.2.
- C Grade is open to Female Members with a GA handicap of 26.3 to 36.0 and above. Handicap is taken from the date entries close.
- Any player who cannot be available to play each qualifying round and all of the subsequent match play rounds is asked not to enter the competition to avoid walkovers.
- Members with a GA handicap between 9.2 and 15.7 may elect to enter the Club Championship or the A Grade Championship but not both. Members select the grade by placing their entry on the appropriate entry sheet for the selected grade.
5. TIES
- In the event of ties after the qualifying rounds the GA Countback system shall be used.
6. ENTRY
- Competitors shall nominate for the event by entering their names on the Entry sheet. Entries will close as advertised in the Golf Program to enable a draw to be made and published.
- Late entries may be accepted if there are vacancies in the respective grade upon the release of the draw and with the approval of the Women’s Captain.
7. PRESENTATIONS
- Presentations of trophies will be made on Championship Day to:

- Runner Up
- Leading Qualifier
- Leading Net Aggregate
