1. HISTORY
Robert Allenby joined Yarra Yarra as a 17-year-old junior in 1988, and won many amateur titles, including regular interstate and international team selections. He was Club Champion in 1991 and commenced his successful professional career in 1992.
2. EVENT TYPE
- Perpetual Trophy.
3. COMPETITION
- Played over 36 Holes, concurrently with the Club Championship Rounds 1 & 2, with the best gross score the winner.
4. ELIGIBILITY
- Open to Male and Female Young and Junior Members under the age of 21 years as at Round 1 with a handicap of 18 or under.
- Competitors who enter the Junior Championship are eligible to also enter either the Men’s Open, A, B or C Club Championship or the Women’s Club Championship.
5. TIES
- In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the GA Countback System.
6. ENTRY
- Competitors shall nominate for the event by entering their names on the Entry sheet. Entries will close two weeks before the qualifying round to enable a draw to be made and published.
- Late entries will not be accepted.
7. PRESENTATIONS
- Presentation of the Robert Allenby Trophy will be made at the Championship Day Presentations. The winners will be acknowledged and photographed, plus the Club will provide hospitality for the competitors, caddies, supporters and the referee.
