1. HISTORY
- The Centenary Cup was donated by Mrs. C.W (Nancy) Marriott to commemorate the centenary of Victoria in 1935. Mrs. Marriott was Lady President from 1932 to 1937. After stepping down as Lady President Mrs. Marriott became active on the VLGU Committee.
2. EVENT TYPE
- Perpetual Trophy.
3. COMPETITION
- Three qualifying stroke rounds are to be played in conjunction with club competitions as scheduled in the golf program.
- The 4 best net aggregate scores of players having played all 3 qualifying rounds will qualify for match play
- At the conclusion of the 3 rounds of qualifying the leading 4 players will be contacted and advised of their qualification to confirm availability.
- Players must be available for all match play rounds to qualify. Match play rounds are to be played by the scheduled play by date as per the golf program.
4. PRESENTATIONS
- Presentation of the Centenary Cup will be made on Women’s Annual Presentation Day.
